February 13-19, 2014

2-13-14
2-14-14 a day at Woodland Park Zoo

In February, the rain kept falling.  Slowly the flowers started to bud and the trees looked stronger and reached higher towards the sky.  At a birthday party in the country, my little one pointed up at the sky and told me that it would be a good picture because there was a heart in the sky.  To this day, it astounds me that she saw that from her vantage point so close to the ground.  My six year old daughter has a great eye for beauty.  I have taken her out with me several times to find secret moments of amazement.

The sun would sometimes rise and set with golden color.  I never could quite tell when that would happen, so I always looked up in the sky to see what the day would hold or to see how the curtain would fall on the events of the day.  February.
