Around this time, the flowers started blooming. I could look at the fine details of flowers all day long- the folds, the way the raindrops settle on the petals, the outlines within the flowers. For some reason, reds do not come out at all well with my camera....they look like old women with too much lipstick on.
The pinks, yellows and purples came first for me. I love the pink blooms against the bright blue sky (when blue skies arrived for us).
The sunrise photo with the crew team is a special one for me. I sat on the boat launch listening to the motivation being shouted at them through a megaphone, "you are the lucky ones. You are the ones who get to be out here doing this on this amazing day".
